Free Well Woman Exams
Ongoing healthcare is essential to a woman’s health and safety, which is why well woman exams are recommended on a yearly basis for most women. No insurance? No problem! FPSSP providers are proud to offer well woman exams free of charge for qualified individuals. Well woman exams are provided at the FPSSP provider’s location or through a referral to a local medical practitioner. All exams are done by a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant.
What is a Well Woman Exam?
A well woman exam is offered to women to review elements of their reproductive health. The exams can vary, but may include a breast examination, a pelvic examination, and a pap smear. Alpha Center offers free sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing.
Do You Qualify for a Free Well Woman Exam?
Well Woman Exam: To qualify for a well woman exam, you must not have had an exam in at least one year. You must be uninsured, 18 or older, and possess a valid US government-issued or state-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license.
